Communication skills seldom come naturally – they can only be developed properly with assistance. We all need an objective, knowledgeable observer to watch us, hear us, analyze us, and tweak our performance. This is why professional coaching is critical to success. What is media-based coaching? Our programs organize your communication style and help you and your employees prepare for any upcoming encounter: personal style, targeted imagery, storytelling, question/answer technique, and dozens of other elements that critically affect how your message is perceived.
We use video evaluation based on our 30+-year media producer who has worked with hundreds of pros. Our television-based techniques causes our students to push harder, pay attention, be more motivated, and consequently make huge leaps forward. The camera brings a unique dynamic to the training because people in today’s work force are “TV-conditioned.” Mastering the skills of how the television communicates provides amazing results in training people to make clear, focused messages that improve productivity. Our clients have the confidence that comes from knowing how to handle any situation from media encounters to client meetings. In some cases, our coaches even accompany our clients to a critical event and provide on-the-spot support.
The Communication Arts Training Team:
Gene Vasconi leads the training team. He is a 30 year media professional and author of the book “Say W hat: Do You Really Know What You Are Communicating?” A professional speaker and television producer, Gene has trained hundreds of clients to power up their communication styles. His techniques produce results because he shows us the connection back to the power of television and the techniques that keep millions of people glued to the screen.
Linda Farrell is a former television anchorperson and veteran media/communications trainer. Her decades of expertise with all three major networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) give her the knowledge to train others in media techniques. An in-demand trainer for many government agencies and corporate operations, Linda is an engaging trainer and coach.
Pamela Horton, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and educator with a thriving private practice. Her specialty is helping people find new avenues of interpersonal communication. She brings decades of education and practical expertise to our clients as she shows them effective and surprising ways to interact with others.
